IN THE CONTEXT OF LIFE, WHAT BETTER REPRESENTS NEW BEGINNINGS THAN MOVING HOUSE? THEREFORE, THE CREATIVE PROPOSITION FOR THIS CONCEPT WAS MOVING ON.

PACKING BOXES ARE A KEY SYMBOL OF MOVING HOUSE. THE VISUAL LANGUAGE FOR THIS EP COVER MADE USE OF BOX ICONOGRAPHY, ALTERING THE HANDLE WITH CARE ICON TO BETTER SUIT THE ALBUM'S NARRATIVE, USING LAVENDER - THE FLOWER OF PEACE TO CONNECT THE PROCESS OF DEADHEADING WITH THE BANDS NAME - PEACEMODE. AN AUTHENTIC HANDWRITTEN TITLE FURTHER CONVEYED THE STORY, LABELLING THE BOX AS SOMEONE WOULD WHEN MOVING HOUSE.

EACH SINGLE ON THE EP USED AN EXISTING BOX ICON RELATING TO THE CONTENTS OF EACH SONG. 7/11 TRANSFORMED THE FRAGILE ICON INTO A DRINK SYMBOL REMINISCENT OF THE 7/11 LOGO, HOME ALTERED THE KEEP CLOSED ICON INTO THE FORM OF A HOUSE, WHILE SMOG CITY USED THE KEEP DRY ICON TO CREATE A LITERAL SMOG CITY FEATURING SKYSCRAPERS.

IDEA OF MOVING ON, BUILDING ON THE MOVING BOXES CONCEPT
THROUGH GUERILLA MARKETING FEATURING REMOVAL TRUCKS AND
PHYSICAL BOXES PRINTED WITH EACH ICON. THIS WAS ACCOMPANIED
WITH MERCHANDISE STANDS IN THE FORM OF TRUCKS AT CONCERTS
AS WELL AS DEADHEADS PACKING TAPE FOR PEOPLE TO SEAL THEIR
OWN BOXES WITH WHEN MOVING HOUSE THEMSELVES.
